Tripp lives in Duxbury, Massachusetts with his wife and three young children. He is an avid fisherman who enjoys all things outdoors. He is also heavily involved in the community, coaching lacrosse and working with a handful of non-profits.
Tripp has a history of success in sales and management roles at both investment advisory and asset management firms. As a co-founder of New World Advisors, Tripp brings a wealth of experience and contacts to his leadership role. He is responsible for running the overall business and directing the firm’s growth.
Prior to 2018, Tripp served as Director of Business Development for Contravisory Investment Management, a Registered Investment Advisor in the Boston-area. Prior to Contravisory, Tripp held senior level sales roles at Bank of New York Mellon Investment Management, a multi-boutique, $1.6 Trillion AUM global asset management firm managing assets for some of the world’s largest institutions, governments, corporations and families. Prior to BNY Tripp led the business development and sales functions for North Peak Asset Management. He began his financial industry career as an institutional equity sales trader for Adams, Harkness & Hill.
Tripp holds a BA from Gettysburg College and an MBA from Bentley University. Tripp played varsity lacrosse at Gettysburg and was the assistant lacrosse coach at Bentley while pursuing his MBA.
